Infracraft answered a call of help from Renascent after they were left in a challenging situation due to the contracted joiner pulling out of the project. In six weeks from the phone call we had delivered this project. It was challenging for everyone but we were able to draw, manufacture, deliver and install a high quality project for Renascent and TAFE NSW. A huge thanks to all the Infracraft staff and contractors for going above and beyond.
Scone TAFE Connected Learning Centre (CLC) is part of a state wide roll out of digitally enabled flexible learning facilities for rural centres.
The CLC provides greater accessibility to TAFE services in rural areas and allows delivery of a wider range of courses through an interactive and multi-purposed learning space.
The construction of the Scone TAFE CLC by Renascent involved the demolition of an existing shed, storage tanks and contaminated ground remediation. The new facility was built around a structural steel frame with external cladding, flexible learning areas with stacking glazed partitions and state of the art Audio Visual equipment. Externally the site provides new carparking, landscaping and outdoor learning areas.
